Hosting and standard logs
TryVR is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like most web infrastructure, Cloudflare may process technical request data such as IP address, browser information, requested URL, timing, and security signals to deliver and protect the site. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
Analytics
TryVR may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate page traffic and performance. The site does not include advertising trackers or a Google Analytics tag in its source at the date below. This policy will be updated before adding a materially different analytics or advertising service.
Theme preference
If you switch between light and dark mode, TryVR stores that choice in your
browser's local storage under tryvr-theme. It stays on your device
and can be removed by clearing site data.
Newsletter
Email signup is not currently enabled. TryVR does not collect email addresses through this site. An RSS feed is available without signup.
External and affiliate links
Directory, shopping, source, GitHub, and social links lead to other websites. Those services receive normal referral and request information and apply their own privacy policies. A future affiliate link may include a tracking identifier so the merchant can attribute a purchase to TryVR; pages using those links will disclose the relationship.
Children
TryVR is written for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Headset age, account, and supervised-use rules vary; guardians should use current manufacturer instructions.
Questions and changes
Privacy questions or corrections can be raised through the public issue tracker. This page will change before a new form, ad network, or materially different tracker goes live.
